6 p. m. - 9 p. m. - a guided tour of the church, sacristy, St. Thecla’s Chapel and the cloister choir (through the raised grille). Every hour on the hour there shall be a short multimedia presentation providing an unique insight into the renovated furnishings of the sacristy within the cloister enclosure and the cloister treasures presently awaiting renovation.

The tour shall be attended by an art historian and a Conservator of Historic Sights, with a view to providing the visitors with a running commentary on all the artefacts.

10 a. m. -  7. p.m. a guided tour of the choir loft within the monastery enclosure, Chapter House and the old pharmacist’s cell which boasts a polychromy dating all the way back to 1677-1688 (renovated in 2011). A collection of 16thc - 18th c. monastic song-books shall also be put on display.

Touring in the 40-person groups only, on the hour, i.e. 10 a. m., 11 a. m., 12 a. m., 1 p. m., 3 p. m., 4 p. m., 6 p. m.

Apart from the spiritual experience, the visitors shall also be availed of an opportunity to enjoy a culinary one through sampling the monastic food cooked by the Benedictine Sisters.

Accompanying events:  Instytut Dziedzictwa (National Heritage Institute), the initiator and organiser of the “The Inimitable Charm of Bouquets” welcomes on August 15, 2013 (Thursday) to a traditional “Bukiet zielny” (wild flowers bouquet) bouquets-making fete and contest in celebration of the Assumption of Virgin Mary holiday. For more details please look up:  www.instytutdziedzictwa.pl On August 15, plenty of symbolic bouquets made of wild flowers shall be given away in front of the following churches: Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Piasek (Carmelite Fathers) ul. The Archaeology Museum of Kraków welcomes on August 14, 2013 (Wednesday) to visit the following exhibitions:

4 p. m. - 8 p. m. - “Historical outline of the Grand Market Square and St. Adalbert’s Church in Kraków”  (in the basement of St. Adalbert’s Church - Grand Market Square)

Touring in small groups only, admission every 30 minutes. No booking required, admission free. Museum staff shall be on hand to address any detailed queries.

4.30 p. m. ; 6.30 p. m. - “The building of the Archaeology Museum of Kraków - stepping back a long way in time”.

Admission free. Guided tour of the premises, then a short walk to the Church of St. Bernard of Sienna to see the salvaged furnishings originating from the demolished monastic church of Discalced Carmelite Fathers.
